Payment Schedule:
Deposits are required upon registration. The deposit is fully refunded if we cancel the trip for any reason. Otherwise, it is non-refundable outside of an exceptional, case-by case basis. Final payment is due at least 60 days prior to departure date.
There are two payment options
1. Credit Cards:
We accept credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB and Diner's Club. For payment by credit cards the additional fee for the bank payment system (3.9%) will be added to the sum that you are going to pay. Therefore, if you choose to pay your deposit of 800 USD by credit card, with the fee of 3.9% the deposit is 831 USD. There are two credit card payment options:
- payment by card over the phone – our consultants will guide you through the card payment procedure. Please call our office: 646-7400-400.
- by special secure online form to which you will receive a link via e-mail. This payment can be made on your own online.
2. Wire (bank) transfers:
There is also a possibility of paying by wire (bank) transfer. The costs of the wire transfer will depend on your bank.
General Terms and Conditions
Registration Form is a written agreement which is concluded between travel agency Archaeological Paths and Inside Egypt (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Tour Organizer’) and a tour guest (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Traveler’). The agreement affects a tour organized by the Tour Organizer for the Traveler. The Traveler confirms that all the personal information provided on this Registration Form is correct.
Travel Documents: All travelers need a passport valid for at least six months after the date of departure from Egypt.
Roommates: Roommates are guaranteed for the main tour of Egypt. In case of the add-ons to Alexandria or Jordan if you travel single and would like to share the room with another participant, we will try to find a roommate for you. If there are no single travelers to share the room during the add-ons, you will need to pay for the single supplement.
Reservation and Payment: The deposit is required at the time of booking. The final payment is due 60 days prior to the beginning of the tour. It is the responsibility of the Traveler (or Traveler's agent) to determine that final payment reaches the Tour Organizer on time. Payments are to be made by credit card or wire transfer. The credit card payments incur an additional and non-refundable fee of 3.9% for the bank payment system that will be added to the Traveler’s payment total amount. For the wire transfer payment option, any fees charged are the responsibility of the Traveler.
Cancellations and Refunds: The deposit is fully refunded if the Tour Organizer cancels the trip for any reason. Otherwise, it is non-refundable. Traveler canceling prior to 60 days before the tour receives a full refund less a deposit. In case of cancellations made by the Traveler from 60 days to 20 days prior to the tour, the amount refunded depends on the incurred expenses of the Tour Organizer (each case is decided individually on the basis of agreements and prepayments made by the Tour Organizer). The cancellations made by the Traveler from 19 days prior to the tour until the first day of the tour are entirely non-refundable. No refund will be made for transfers, sightseeing tours, unused site entries or any other services (including meals, accommodation, or transportation) voluntarily not taken. The Tour Organizer reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to departure in which case a full refund will be sent to the Traveler. The Tour Organizer is not responsible for any costs incurred by the Traveler (eg. advance airline tickets and travel insurance). Any complaints and refund inquiries have to be made by the Traveler within 30 days after the end of the tour. Complaints and refund inquiries will be considered by the Tour Organizer within 30 days of the date of the inquiry. The complaints and refund inquiries sent in later than 30 days after the end of the tour will not be considered by the Tour Organizer.
Responsibility: Responsibility: The Tour Organizer is not responsible for any unpredictable situations like natural disasters, government actions, weather. The Tour Organizer assures no responsibility for any personal injury, property damage or other loss, accident, death, delay, inconvenience or irregularity which may be occasioned by reason of any matter beyond our exclusive control including but not limited to a delay or cancellation that causes you to miss all or any portion of the Tour. The Tour Organizer reserves the right to make necessary changes in the tour itinerary in order to adapt to possible alterations in flight times or other unforeseen circumstances. In the case of unexpected governmental actions or closure of any tourist attraction or site, the Tour Organizer reserves the right to cancel the visit to a site and in such event the cancelation will be replaced with another site/attraction.

Health Insurance: Tour Organizer purchases health insurance for the Traveler in AXA Insurance Company. The Insurance purchased by the Tour Organizer covers the insured amounts as specified below, not including chronic diseases or pre-existing conditions. There is a possibility to extend your health insurance policy – the Traveler should contact the Tour Organizer in order to extend health insurance coverage. Medical Expenses and Immediate Assistance - 30.000 EUR
Consequences of Accidents - 4.000 EUR
